Wings At 10 Years in the South Pacific

At 3:30PM 30 March 2013, three intrepid sailors cast off from the fuel dock in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and 23 1/2 days later, this group made landfall on Nuku Hiva, French Polynesia. It's been a decade.

We will return this season with some big but not major projects to complete. We also think that two good friends might join us, off and on, for our trip.

For the projects, we will remove and replace our much beloved refrigerator, a 38-year old Adler Barbor Cold Machine. Wow! We got our money's worth! Our new fridge should be much more efficient. We also have to replace an air valve in our ancient dinghy.

We do hope that our friends can make it. For another couple, it's just a step too far from comfort to be there.
